What structured cabling standards do you comply with?

All our structured cabling installations comply with TIA/EIA-568-C.2 (copper) and TIA-568-C.3 (optical fibre) international standards. We also follow IEC 11801 where required. Every completed cabling run is tested and certified using Fluke Networks cable testers, and clients receive full test reports upon project completion.

Which networking brands does ATLINE supply and install?

We supply and install products from Cisco, Aruba / HPE, Fortinet, Ubiquiti, MikroTik, Huawei, D-Link, Zyxel, Palo Alto Networks, Sophos, and more. For structured cabling, we use Panduit, AMP Netconnect, Belden, and HellermannTyton products. Brand selection is guided by your project requirements, budget, and existing infrastructure.

03
Do you provide network security services?

Yes. Our security services include next-generation firewall (NGFW) deployment and configuration, unified threat management (UTM) solutions, VPN design and implementation, intrusion prevention systems (IPS), network segmentation via VLANs, and security audits. We are a Fortinet Registered Partner and our engineers hold Fortinet NSE certifications.

Projects

4 questions
01
What is your project management methodology?

We follow a structured 4-phase delivery model: (1) Consultation & Assessment; (2) Design & Planning; (3) Implementation with quality checkpoints; (4) Testing, Commissioning & Handover. Client sign-off is required at each major phase.

02
How long does a typical network project take?

Duration depends on scope. A single-floor office network typically takes 2–4 weeks. A multi-building campus network can take 6–16 weeks. We provide a detailed project schedule during the proposal stage.

03
Can you work within an occupied building without disrupting operations?

Yes. We are experienced in phased deployments within active environments — government offices, hospitals, and schools. Our teams coordinate cutover windows and schedule disruptive work during off-hours.

04
Do you handle procurement of all equipment, or do we supply it?

We can handle procurement end-to-end, or work with client-supplied equipment. Our procurement service includes vendor negotiation, logistics, customs clearance, and delivery to site.

Technical

3 questions
01
What is the difference between Cat 6 and Cat 6A cabling?

Cat 6 supports 1 Gbps at up to 100 metres and 10 Gbps at up to 55 metres. Cat 6A supports 10 Gbps at the full 100-metre channel length, with improved alien crosstalk performance. For new installations we recommend Cat 6A.

02
What is SD-WAN and should we deploy it?

SD-WAN provides centralised WAN management, automatic traffic routing across multiple ISPs, and application-aware path selection. It is ideal for organisations with multiple branch offices or cloud-heavy workloads.

03
How do you handle network documentation?

We deliver a complete documentation package at handover — network topology diagrams, IP address tables, VLAN summaries, port-to-outlet mapping, cabling test reports, and configuration backups, in both print and digital formats.

Yes. Standard terms for medium-to-large projects: 30% mobilisation deposit on signing, 40% on substantial completion, 30% on final handover. We accommodate government procurement requirements.

03
Can we get a quotation before committing?
